很多人经常会收到各种海关数据的营销邮件。很多人的本能是不相信此类数据,原因在于它颠覆了外贸业务开发客户的思想,让你轻松地获得了很多进口商的资料。此类邮件如果一周收到一封,那你要烦死了。不过我们转换一下思路,如果我是卖海关数据的,看看我会怎么去引起潜在客户的注意:

第一封邮件:列出你公司去年出口的北美客户的提单数据,买家公司名,只截取一小块,然后告诉你,试试海关数据开发客户的威力吧,它有真实的数据让你信服。这封你有些好奇了,还真的找到了我的北美客户。但是仍不是完全相信,没回复;好吧,我们接着来!

第二封邮件:我们为您列出了客户,他们或许是你的同行,你的竞争对手。他们已经在使用海关数据找客户了,列出两个行业内有代表性的进口商。你还在保持沉默吗?你被调动了极高的兴趣,但是又犹豫效果真的这么好吗?你还是没有回应。好吧,再来!

举这个例子,是为了说明,当你还没有进入客户的视野时,你应该多思考,怎样引起客户的注意和兴趣,让你能够进入客户的视线并对你有兴趣。多和他谈一些他市场上的信息,以及告诉他你对他们公司的了解,包括他可能的竞争对手,或者同行什么的,这样你才能进入他的视野。他会觉得你说的就是他行业的事情。

你能带给客户什么价值?传递什么服务?你和别的供应商有哪些不同?你有哪些参考客户?你能帮我们具体解决什么问题?等等,这些都是外贸业务员需要深层次去考虑的地方。

发开发信,确定主题,也就是标题,也是很重要的一步。

标题起的好,你的开发信就成功了一半,特别是未与客户建立任何业务往来之前,开发信的标题就是你的敲门砖。

大多数的外贸人都很直接,主题喜欢写的非常明确 “我要和你合作” “我想和你们公司建立业务关系”等等…..
